Sarah Howell
I've always enjoyed art and found it a great way to release my creative spirit and bring a bit of colour into life.
I grew up in the Midlands town of Alcester, near Stratford-upon-Avon and always had a creative spirit which was driven by my late Mum's love of painting.
I studied art whilst at Alcester Grammar School and the techniques I learnt have stayed with me and I've been painting ever since. My professional career in marketing and communications has given me the opportunity to live in different parts of the world and in my spare time allowed me to attended various art courses including a stint at the Glassell School of Art in Houston and a recent art retreat in Spain. I currently live in Cobham, Surrey with regular visits to the lovely Devon town of Totnes.
My preferred medium is acrylic - be it thick or thin - but I also like experimenting with mixed media and dabbling with a little watercolour here and there.
